Operations Coordinator
Special needs require special people.
We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support the Operations Director in scaling and strengthening the company’s operational backbone. This role covers the full spectrum of day-to-day operations — from regulatory compliance support and entity structuring to process automation, counterparty account management, and partner coordination. The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, and comfortable navigating the complexity of the digital assets industry in a fast-moving, multi-jurisdictional environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Infrastructure & Project Support
• Support the Operations Director in executing projects aimed at developing and improving the company’s operational infrastructure
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks
Counterparty Relations
• Assist in opening and maintaining accounts with banks, payment processors, liquidity providers, crypto exchanges, custodians, OTC desks, and other financial and crypto service counterparties
• Support ongoing relationships and help resolve operational issues with external partners and service providers
Regulatory Research & Process Development
• Monitor and research regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions
• Help translate regulatory findings into actionable internal processes and compliance frameworks
Corporate Expansion, Licensing & Assessments
• Assist in coordinating the opening of new legal entities in target jurisdictions
• Support the end-to-end process of obtaining new licenses and regulatory approvals, liaising with legal counsel and local authorities as directed
• Assist in conducting operational and compliance assessments
• Support certification processes and act as an operational point of contact for auditors and assessors
Policies & Documentation
• Draft, maintain, and update the company’s internal policies, procedures, operational manuals, and regulatory documentation
• Ensure documentation is aligned with applicable regulatory standards and internal best practices
Process Improvement & Automation
• Continuously analyse and help optimise operational workflows to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support business growth
• Identify bottlenecks and propose structured solutions across departments
• Assist in automating operational and administrative processes
• Research, evaluate, and help implement AI tools and workflow automation solutions to increase efficiency across the organisation
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience
• 2–4 years of experience in operations, compliance, or project coordination within fintech, digital assets, or any financial services
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks, practices, and principles applicable to the financial and crypto industry – nice to have
• Experience supporting licensing or certification processes is a strong advantage
Skills & Competencies
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills — able to manage multiple workstreams with competing priorities
• Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced landscape
• Hands-on experience with process automation tools and AI-powered solutions is a plus
• High degree of ownership — able to take responsibility for tasks and drive them to completion with guidance but minimal hand-holding
• Strong sense of accountability for outcomes, timelines, and quality of work
Education & Languages
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, IT, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA, PMP) are an advantage
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Russian or Greek is a plus
