Crypto Investment Manager

Wise Wolves Corporation has acquired a license in the crypto business in Cyprus and is building a team of professionals.

Our new role is Trader (crypto). You must have experience working as a Trader for a Crypto brokerage, along with a proven trading track record to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

Investment Strategy & Portfolio Management

• Design and manage crypto investment strategies across:

  • low-risk yield instruments (e.g. T-Bills analogues, AAA-grade structured products, gold-linked exposure)
  • DeFi strategies (lending, liquidity provision, structured on-chain yield)
  • trading or systematic strategies (if applicable)

• Allocate capital between strategies based on risk profile, market conditions, and mandate
• Monitor portfolio performance, drawdowns, and risk metrics

Risk & Governance

• Work closely with Risk Manager to define:

  • risk limits
  • exposure caps
  • liquidity requirements

• Participate in investment and risk committee decisions
• Ensure strategies align with the fund’s risk framework and investor expectations

Market Analysis & Execution Oversight

• Analyze crypto markets, DeFi protocols, and counterparties
• Evaluate new protocols, products, and structures before capital deployment
• Oversee execution logic (without necessarily executing trades personally)

Reporting & Transparency

• Prepare regular performance reports for internal stakeholders
• Contribute to investor materials (strategy descriptions, commentary, risk disclosures)
• Explain portfolio positioning and results in a clear, non-technical manner when needed

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with:

  • Operations / Backoffice (reconciliation, settlements)
  • Custody / Wallet infrastructure (on-chain flows, safekeeping)
  • Legal & Compliance (where applicable)

Requirements: 

Experience

• 3–7+ years in investment management, crypto funds, DeFi, trading desks, or structured finance
• Proven experience managing capital or strategies in crypto or digital assets
• Strong understanding of DeFi protocols, stablecoin mechanics, and on-chain risks

Skills & Knowledge

• Portfolio construction and risk-adjusted return thinking
• Understanding of yield generation in crypto (lending, LP, structured products)
• Ability to assess smart contract, counterparty, and liquidity risks
• Comfortable working with both on-chain and traditional financial concepts

Nice to Have

• Experience working with institutional or semi-institutional investors
